India spared Bangladesh the ignominy of a follow-on but grabbed an overall lead of 308 with seven wickets in hands to seize control of the opening Test.

India are in a great position in the first Test against Bangladesh and look set to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The second Test will be played from September 27 at Green Park in Kanpur. The match could see India make a few changes to the squad.
