A tropical disturbance building in the Caribbean Sea has been designated as Potential Tropical Cyclone 19 by the National Hurricane Center, and is forecast to strengthen into a tropical storm – known as Tropical Storm Sara – over the next few days.

Potential Tropical Cyclone 19 is expected to become Tropical Storm Sara as it approaches Central America, and may be near hurricane strength, according to the National Hurricane Center. It's also expected to cross the Gulf of Mexico and approach Florida.

Patience is the name of the game as we watch Potential Tropical Cyclone#19 meander in the Caribbean through the weekend. Whether or not it impacts the Gulf is TBD.

The National Hurricane center is tracking Potential Tropical Cyclone 19, which is expected to become Tropical Storm Sara on Thursday. It's moving west at 6 mph with winds of 30 mph.
