Pakistan's jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued a "final call" for a protest in Islamabad on November 24 to press for his release from jail. 72-year-old Imran Khan was prime minister of Pakistan from 2018 to 2022 and has been embroiled in over 200 legal cases.

According to Faisal Chaudhry, Imran Khan announced that Islamabad will be the focal point of the 24 November protest, with demonstrations to be held across Pakistan and worldwide. He added that the protests will continue until their demands are met.
