Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defense systems intercepted 70 Ukrainian drones over six regions, including 34 over the Moscow region.

Five people were killed and one woman injured in Ukrainian southern city of Mykolaiv as a result of a Russian drone attack, Governor Vitalii Kim said on Telegram early on Monday.

Ukraine launched a drone attack on a Russian chemical plant in the western city of Tula overnight on Friday into Saturday, according to the country’s security service. Russian authorities have not acknowledged the attack.
