Official news on the Nintendo Switch 2 remains elusive beyond Nintendo confirming it’s working on a follow-up to its wildly popular home console/handheld hybrid system. But our wait for a first glimpse at Nintendo’s next-gen hardware may be over thanks to a new leak.

If you listen closely, it feels like you can hear the jingle of plastic and metal for Nintendo’s next console as its manufactured and assembled in faraway factories. You can almost sense its launch lineup coming into focus as the company’s developers prepare to put their finishing touches on whimsical new experiments.

Although Nintendo has yet to unveil its Switch successor, a couple of games are already supposedly slated to launch on the new system.

The short answer is... no. While the Switch rumor mill has been working overtime for literal years, the only official word we've had from Nintendo is that the Switch 2 will, at the very least, be revealed (if not released) by April 2025 .
