The Formula 1 series is set to make its annual trip to Singapore at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday, which means Saturday marked the all-important practice race to fine-tune ahead of the main event. However, Saturday's practice race was marred by a delay by an unexpected source: a giant lizard.

A lizard stopped the action in the concluding practice for this weekend’s F1 Singapore Grand Prix. McLaren’s Lando Norris led the way, four-tenths clear of Mercedes’ George Russell, with Oscar Piastri third.
